Founded on September 29, 2009, Lightforce Corporation started as a small lighting company. Driven by the desire to offer modern lighting products to consumers, Lightforce's first step to innovating the lighting industry was selling quality light bulbs in its first store in Cubao.
But like many businesses, Lightforce has also encountered its share of challenges. One of the most significant was the impact of Typhoon Ondoy in September 2009. Three days before the company’s opening, the typhoon caused severe flooding in its warehouse, resulting in the loss of approximately 75% of its inventory.
This, however, did not stop Lightforce from moving forward. Despite the setback, the company showed resilience and continued to push further. With a strong commitment to recovery, Lightforce was able to adapt and become one of today’s most trusted LED and solar light suppliers in the Philippines.
Apart from expanding its business to several locations, Lightforce has also forged valuable partnerships with trusted lighting suppliers, such as CHINT and SIMON.
