  • 1920 – Simon then introduced a new product – lamp holders with keys.
  • 1925 –Five years after the introduction of lamp holders with keys, Arturo Simon expanded the range of electrical equipment by making outlets and switches. This development has significantly increased his company’s productivity. With this change, a factory on the ground floor and housing on the first floor were built.

Simon also developed his first pear switch during this time.

  • 1927, 1930 – In 1927, Simon introduced a new switch with a tumbler system in the market. Three years later, he then created the rotary switch “Extra.”
  • 1936 – In this year, the Civil War compelled the industrial sector to come to a halt, with operations being centralized for the production of weapons. Simon's factory underwent a mandatory shift, redirecting its efforts towards manufacturing copper and lead bullets.
  • 1942 – During World War II, Simon found himself engaged in the manufacturing of porcelain as a response to the scarcity prevailing at the time.
  • 1949 – Seven years later, Simon purchased Pequeño Material Eléctrico (PME). The company then moved to Barcelona and opened factories in Sancho, Tanger, and Sant Andreu.
  • 1950 – The following year, Simon opened a new factory in Olot, where he switched from manufacturing small electrical equipment for hardware stores to producing materials for new construction projects.
  • 1956, 1960, and 1962 – These years were all about creating new products. During these years, Simon added new products to his selection – built-in SIMON 24 series, SIMON 32, Schuko, 565 Lampholders, and SIMON 25.
  • 1966 – Simon’s lighting business continued to grow as he purchased IEP (Industrias Eléctricas Puig), one of Spain’s first lighting companies.
  • 1967, 1973 – Simon has revitalized its renowned SIMON 32 series, aligning it with contemporary trends and introducing the upgraded version: SIMON 32 Super.

He also launched a new product called SIMON 36.

  • 1975 – Simon’s new manufacturing center opened in Girona.
  • 1978, 1979, and 1982 – Simon launched three new products: SIMON 31, SIMON 29, and SIMON 25 Super.
  • 1992 – In conjunction with the Olympic Games, architect Cristian Cirici collaborates with Simon to create both the series 27 (wavy version) and the series 28.
  • 1993 – The brand SIMON became a pioneer in Intelligent Control for room safety and comfort management by introducing the first automation system.
  • 1995 – SIMON 88, a new series designed by Pep Bonet, was launched.
  • 1998 – This year was a productive year for SIMON, as multiple product launches and company expansion occurred.

During this year, the warehouse in Canovelles opened, and SIMON 27 was launched.

Still, in the same year, the brand started to target young markets in emerging countries:  Mexico, Brazil, North Africa, Russia, India, and China.
